Latter term plan exhibition "letter of letter, haiku poet of Basho" [Basho Museum]

For new coronavirus infectious disease extended prevention, permanent construction display stops special display until from Saturday, February 29 to Sunday, April 12. ※April 13 is closed day

We display ten points of letters including handwriting letter which Matsuo Basho addressed to disciple

About letter which Matsuo Basho addressed to disciple, letter of school of Basho haiku poet, we comment on person and the content to come up in letter. We display letter of ten points of haiku poets including handwriting letter which Basho addressed to disciple, the phrase sky (kukuu) of Kaga in 1691 (Genroku 4) of Basho Museum possession. In addition, we put related materials together and introduce.

It is admission ticket that we can use for history culture facility 3 building of Koto City (Fukagawa Edo Museum, Nakagawa Funabansho Museum, Basho Museum) once each. It is effective for one year from the first use day.
