Photo exhibition holding of Mitsuhiko Imamori who featured the theme of "village forest" where creature coexisted with people.

It is photographer who Mitsuhiko Imamori passes on the stage of village forest around Lake Biwa of hometown more than 30 years, and continues taking living of nature and people. We started serialization of "village forest story" in "mother nature" magazine in 1992, and the word "village forest" was a chance to collect spotlights. With "village forest" which Imamori thinks about, "place where people and creature live together" is "agroenvironmental thing in Japan ancient times when creature coexists with people". We are not limited as some specific place and call all space where creature coexists with people village forest.
Scenery of village forest around Lake Biwa of hometown of Imamori will be to tell that or our living is concerned with nature and squid deeply and there are ourselves in scenery of village forest.
