Free, after Shinto ritual "Kameido daikon harvest festival" to dedicate "Kameido daikon" which all of elementary and junior high schools of Kameido district brought up carefully, provide miso soup of Kameido daikon; "divide fortune, and festival" is performed.

"Kameido Japanese radish" got close to general public from the Edo era was cultivated around Katorijinja Shrine. It was also called another name "fat-faced woman daikon" "tortoise daikon" from lovely state in small size of around 30cm in length. Leaf is informed by asazuke root without place to leave over as we do and were useful for Edoite very much deliciously.
Becoming goes ahead through residential land and farmhouse cultivating is only several houses in Tokyo, but mall and neighborhood association of Kameido district cooperate and have activity to bring back Kameido daikon and will be cultivated now at site of each elementary and junior high school of Kameido district.

We distribute fortune, and festival can participate in anyone. Please appreciate miso soup of slightly sweet Kameido daikon! (300 meals of limitation). Adults including good old begoma meeting are varied by plan that child can enjoy on that day.
