At The Tokyo Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park SONA AREA TOKYO, near Tokyo Big Site, which holds various events throughout the year, you can have a free disaster prevention learning experience. It is a great spot for the family to visit as it has different events held throughout the year, as well as free playground equipment in the park. It is general Inside Sports facility which Koto City runs. You can use the large gymnastic room, training room, pools, and more as you like. The pools include a 25-meter pool, a 0.3–0.1-meter deep pool for children, and a jacuzzi. The water slide is very popular among children.

Mizu-no-hiroba Park

We can take a walk in green while enjoying ship and view of waterside to come and go. It is along canal of park and can enjoy fishing. This park has a rainbow fountain that splashes water sparkling in seven colors for approximately 10 minutes each hour from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm from April to October. You can view this fountain from the east and west side of Mizu-no-hiroba Park, as well as from Yumeno Ohashi Bridge, water buses, and Yurikamome.

5. Ariake Nishi-Futo Ppark

Ariake Nishi Futo Park

It is lengthwise park adjacent to Tokyo Big Sight, Ariake passenger ship terminal. The area is divided into a sea side and a land side. On the sea side, you can relax, watching water buses crossing the canal and the Ferris wheel. It is along canal and can enjoy fishing. On the garden path, there are eight kaishinzo (ocean god statues) with different facial expressions.

6. Tokyo Water Science Museum

Tokyo Water Science Museum

Tokyo Water Science Museum is PR facility of the Tokyo Waterworks Bureau available free. In June 2010, it was renovated and reopened as a hands-on museum to introduce the wonders and the scientific importance of water, and to deepen interest in water and the water supply. Furthermore, "aqua tour" that stopped for Ariake water station construction was reborn by imaging technique of projection mapping in March, 2013. From wonder of water to structure of water supply, we can learn in parent and child happily.

Ariake-tennis-no-mori Park, Ariake Colosseum

It is tennis court which is full of lawn and green of grove-centered park. 48 tennis courts, lawn open space are on very large site center court "Ariake Colosseum" with seat of 10,000 people whom international game, concert are carried out for. You can easily use tennis courts by the hour, even as a beginner (reservations required). In addition, it is full of people enjoying walk, jogging, picnic.

"RiSuPia" is bodily sensation type museum to come in contact with charm of science and mathematics. We can learn while enjoying principle, law by display and personal guide system which are about to appeal to the five senses. Wanza Ariake Bay Mall

These composite facilities include various facilities, such as Japanese, Western, and Chinese restaurants, a bank, a post office, and a clinic. Okunai Taki Shower Tree (Indoor Waterfall Shower Tree) is a must-see, from which you can enjoy a spectacular show with water, lights, and music, and in which approximately 2 tons of water showers all at once from a height of 35 m for 7 minutes.

12. Ariake Garbage and Sewage Plant

Ariake garbage and sewage plant

At the study tour conducted every month, you can learn how trash from the home is disposed of after being delivered to a waste incineration plant. Visit expense is free. Even one person can participate.
During the study tour, you watch an introduction video of the waste incineration plant, and then tour the factory with an employee guide. It is an opportunity to think again about trash, which is an inseparable part of our lives.

Symbol Promenade Park

Symbol Promenade Park has the area of approximately 26.4 hectares. It is 80 m wide and extends over approximately 4 km. It is connected to various facilities within Rinkai sub-city center as the axis of a vast green space. You can view Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, and Statue of Liberty from here. This is a healing spot in Rinkai sub-city center, where you can enjoy flowers and trees throughout the four seasons, including 100,000 bulbs in 400 varieties of tulips in spring (the most in the Metropolitan area), summer flower beds in Omotenashi Kadan, and fall foliage.

14. Yumeno Ohashi Bridge

Yumeno Ohashi Bridge

Yumeno Ohashi Bridge connects Aomi and Ariake. It is a pedestrian bridge that spans approximately 60 m. It was built based on the concept of "liveliness of festivals." The uniquely shaped lighting fixtures are designed with images of firefighters' banners and garden lanterns. At center of the bridge, there are tiles depicting Edo sights and Edo culture on the Ariake side, and Tokyo sights and Tokyo culture on the Aomi side. On fine day, we can look at Mount Fuji.

16. Yumeno Ohashi Bridge

Yumeno Ohashi Bridge

Yumeno Ohashi Bridge connects Aomi and Ariake. It is a pedestrian bridge that spans approximately 60 m. It is attractive to be able to enjoy both gorgeous night view of Tokyoteleport and the downtown area of the north side and quiet night views of warehouse street of the south side. "Turnout of festival" was made by concept, and lightener of individual form imaged light rouo which lighted up fireman's standard and garden of Edo fire fighter, and this bridge was designed. At center of the bridge, there are tiles depicting Edo sights and Edo culture on the Ariake side, and Tokyo sights and Tokyo culture on the Aomi side.
