Rinkai Area — Around Aomi Station
It is area of Rinkai Line "Tokyo-Teleport Station" neighborhood "Funenokagakukan Station" "Telecom Center Station" Yurikamome Line "Aomi Station". The big Ferris wheel of Palette Town and the observation platform of Telecom Center are great viewing spots from which you can have a full view of towns in Tokyo, including Rinkai sub-city center. The night view is especially beautiful and recommended. You can enjoy this area with your family or as a couple, along with its museum, shopping mall, and Ohedo Onsen Monogatari.

Symbol Promenade Park has the area of approximately 26.4 hectares. It is 80 m wide and extends over approximately 4 km. It is connected to various facilities within Rinkai sub-city center as the axis of a vast green space. You can view Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Tower, and Statue of Liberty from here. This is a healing spot in Rinkai sub-city center, where you can enjoy flowers and trees throughout the four seasons, including 100,000 bulbs in 400 varieties of tulips in spring (the most in the Metropolitan area), summer flower beds in Omotenashi Kadan, and fall foliage.
Yumeno Ohashi Bridge connects Aomi and Ariake. It is a pedestrian bridge that spans approximately 60 m. It was built based on the concept of "liveliness of festivals." The uniquely shaped lighting fixtures are designed with images of firefighters' banners and garden lanterns. At center of the bridge, there are tiles depicting Edo sights and Edo culture on the Ariake side, and Tokyo sights and Tokyo culture on the Aomi side. On fine day, we can look at Mount Fuji.
Amusement facility is enriched and is TOKYO TREND REVUE where every entertainment including fashion gourmet & foods fuses.
It is art object of about 27m in height in Symbol Promenade Park. In 1998, this statue was presented by France to commemorate The Year of France in Japan. It is symbolic existence of seaside part along with the Statue of Liberty.
5. Palette Town
This large commercial complex includes the Venus Fort shopping mall, the MEGA WEB hands-on vehicle theme park, the large Ferris Wheel symbol of the Rinkai area, the Zepp Tokyo concert hall, the Tokyo Leisure Land indoor-style amusement facility, and more.
Aomi Minami Futo Park has a different atmosphere on the land side and the ocean side. The ocean side runs along a sea route with full views of Tokyo Bay. Looking out over the ocean, you can see Haneda Airport and Umihotaru far off. In addition, container Bath is adjacent, and it is powerful that airplane flies in right behind. On the land side, there is a calm park with a Japanese garden style. It has a flow featuring corridors and arrangements of natural stones, as well as a pond with ducks.
In this cool park, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the port town, with a brick-paved garden path and trash boxes decorated for the port town. Bench is lot, and night view is beautiful, too.
Miraikan-The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) is science museum to be able to learn while enjoying the tip technology through display of participation experience type that featured the theme of robot, space, information science, global environment and interchange with science communicator including earth display "Geo-Cosmos" (geo-cosmos) of about 6m in diameter.
Wangan Studio is a building with one basement floor and seven above-ground floors. The total floor area is over 70,000㎡. Not only is the equipment superior, but also it is kind to people and the town, built with ecological consideration for the environment. It has become the new landmark in the Rinkai area.
10. Tokyo Minatorie
You can experience how Tokyo port developed through a large model and video media, and you can see pictures and learn about role of the Tokyo port as an international trade port. It also has many resources, such as an area introducing the entire picture of Rinkai sub-city center through models and videos, as well as a book area. it is an ideal place for training and learning.
11. Telecom Center
Telecom Center Building, built in 1995 as a central facility for a high-level information communication base, has a rental conference room, a restaurant area, and an atrium with a 5-floor stairwell. Also, on the top 21st floor, there is an observation deck with a large panoramic view. You can enjoy the night view of Rinkai sub-city center, with sights such as Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge. It has an especially good reputation for its wonderful night views. It bustles with many people.
You can enjoy a total of 13 kinds of baths, such as indoor baths fed with water from a spring source drawn from 1,400m underground, an open-air bath, an outdoor footbath, and more. You can also choose your favorite Yukata from the seven kinds available. It has services that people of all ages can enjoy all day, including the restaurant and shop space that reproduces the liveliness of the Hirokouji and Yaoya-cho Edo downtown areas, the Yasumi-dokoro for relaxing after bathing, and the Hogushi-dokoro for relaxation and aesthetics.
This park next to Aomi Ryokudo Park has a baseball field and an observation platform. Baseball field is small baseball stadium for the Little League, but anyone is available without reservation. It is a park full of greenery with many flowers and trees. In quiet atmosphere, we can look at orange night views such as crane or warehouse.
There is a lawn, a walkway by the beach, and a BBQ area where you can enjoy time with your family and friends, as well as a fishing area. We can enjoy with style that was good for oneself while feeling the sea breeze.
This exhibition facility can answer questions such as, "What type of work is done at Customs?" You can have fun learning as you are guided by the Kasutamu-kun mascot, modeled after a drug-sniffing dog. A wide variety of materials are on display in the exhibition space, including explanations of narcotic smuggling techniques, and stuffed animals and replica products relating to the Washington Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species. There is no entry fee and you can visit at your leisure.
16. Venus Fort
It is shopping facility to be able to enjoy fascinating cityscape such as south France and north Italy of the 17th to the 18th century. We have store of about 190 in response to various needs including pet store and shop for kids baby. In addition, we found outlet floor "Venus OUTLET" where about 50 domestic and foreign brands link the eaves in (2009) in 2009. It is reopened as whole country's first "hybrid type shopping mall" and is full of many people.
This has been used as the location for filming numerous TV dramas, including ‘Last Christmas’, ‘Tokyo Tower’, ‘Rich Man, Poor Woman’, ‘Aibo’, ‘Masked Rider Decade’, and Beauty or the Beast’. With its high ceiling, this building has an open, modern feel, and its lobby is often used as a location for scenes made to look as if they are taking place in airports, hotels, and offices. The atrium extends to the fifth floor, which is particularly useful when the filming of large-scale scenes takes place from the upper floors. The fifth floor was constructed as an airport lounge, and has been used numerous times as a location for scenes in which the main characters in a movie or TV drama reunite, are separated, or say farewell.
18. Mega Web
MegaWeb is theme park of "Toyota Motor Corporation which sees, and gets on, and did" to feel in concept. We display new model of Toyota brand earlier than anywhere else, and "Toyota city show case" which can take a test ride is divided into three facilities of "history garage" where "ride studio" which can learn pleasure and traffic rules that even child who does not have license runs displayed world history car. On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, we hold various events.
Via Tokyo Big Sight, "Tokyo Big Sight Palette town line" toward the sunrise pier goes out of this pad. Visitors can admire structures such as the 798-meter-long Rainbow Bridge and the Yurikamome Line while enjoying a cruise around Tokyo Bay. At 80 meters wide and with a combined length of around four kilometers, Symbol Promenade Park covers an area of around 26.4 hectares, and as an extensive focal point for greenery, connects various facilities within the coastal urban sub-center. We can enjoy representative night view of Tokyo including Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower.
Yumeno Ohashi Bridge connects Aomi and Ariake. It is a pedestrian bridge that spans approximately 60 m. It is attractive to be able to enjoy both gorgeous night view of Tokyoteleport and the downtown area of the north side and quiet night views of warehouse street of the south side. The bridge was constructed based on the concept of a festival-like atmosphere, and the lighting for its unique form was designed to bring to mind both hanging garden lanterns and matoi, the striking decorative standards carried by Edo-era firefighters. The center of the bridge is adorned with tiles depicting Edo culture and famous locations in Edo on the Ariake side, and Tokyo culture and famous locations in Tokyo on the Aomi side.
Aomi Minami Futo Park has a different atmosphere on the land side and the ocean side. There is a panoramic view of Tokyo Bay from beside the shipping lane on the ocean side of the park, and looking out towards the sea from here, visitors can enjoy nighttime views of Haneda Airport in the distance, the artificial island of Umihotaru Parking Area, and the Aomi and Oi Container Terminals. Also, the park is adjoined by container berths, and the sight of airplanes in flight directly behind these is particularly impressive. On the land side, there is a calm park with a Japanese garden style. It has a flow featuring corridors and arrangements of natural stones, as well as a pond with ducks.
24. Telecom Center
On the top floor of this 21-story building is an observation deck with sweeping panoramic views. The deck boasts what are probably the best views in Koto City of Tokyo’s distinctive skyline, including everything from Tokyo Water Front to Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge. Inside the observation deck are tables, chairs, and binoculars, enabling visitors to appreciate the night views in a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere.
25. Palette Town
Visitors can see the Giant Sky Wheel, along with the near-futuristic illuminations of the city. The Giant Sky Wheel’s illuminations use the seasons as a motif, decorating the night sky with beautiful colors. It is excellent spot that can overlook Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree ®, famous place of Tokyo including Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Gate Bridge.
