Famous swordsmith, ground where is related to Yukihide Sano of the late Tokugawa period
Sano Yukihide was allowed to enter the castle town of the Tosa clan in 1847 (the 4th year of the Koka era), and in around 1862 (the 2nd year of the Bunkyu era) moved to Edo on the orders of the feudal lord Yamauchi Youdou, where this became the site of his swordsmith business.
