It is Exhibition Hall of Daigo Fukuryu-maru
Pavilion with all wish of peace
We display the wooden tuna boat "the fifth fortune dragon-maru" and accessories and material concerned. "The fifth fortune dragon-maru" was damaged by H-bomb test on (1954) March 1 in 1954. As well as enabling visitors to learn from a real-life wooden fishing vessel that set sail as part of the deep-sea fisheries industry, the city of Tokyo established this exhibition hall to express the wish that no further calamities should occur through the use of nuclear weapons.
