Tatsumi Sakurabashi Bridge passes; see, and play Sakuraba
Beautiful bridge which adopted bias-clad bridge procedures
Tatsumi Sakurabashi Bridge was completed in March 1996 (the 8th year of the Heisei era), and utilizes a cable-stayed structure similar to Yokohama Bay Bridge. It is therefore built on a smaller number of bridge piers than normal, and this modern design takes into account nearby floodgates and the safety of vessels traveling along the Tatsumi Canal, as well as working in harmony with the surrounding environment. If you knock with your hand below the main tower in the center of the bridge, you can hear the sound of a distinct echo.
